Free School..!!!

Government plan for free school in 2009, from SD - SMP (grade 1 - 12)!! (Kompas, 1/9/09), the policy must be followed the commitment with budget for the operational its selves. Cause with out the budget, its still hard to reached. According Ordinance No 20/03 and No 47/08, government guarantee to implement the free-charge education.

Amount students of SD - SMP on all around Indonesia about 34.717.998, and 171.499 schools (total sd and smp). Can we imagine how much budget for implemented that??!.

For doing that, there are 3 condition have to full fill. First, BOS (bantuan operasional sekolah/operational school subsidize) for students and schools, will raised from previous years, second, government will raised the education budget to 20 % (from APBN), and third, raised the teachers salary. In the manner of that, government hoped free school can be done.

In my opinion.. I hope its happen, then human resource's of Indonesia will rise, goes to modern country and left developing country behind. We suck with this condition, always being slave another country!!!. Thus, its might be long, but i bet Indonesia will be.
